Tips for better portrait prompts
- Give a focal length (50mm, 85mm, 135mm). Longer lenses read as flattering, compressed portraits.
- Describe the light source: soft window light, overcast, golden hour backlight or dramatic side light.
- One or two distinctive details (freckles, a weathered face, a navy blazer) do more than a long list.
